Activities

We promote the benefits of FLOSS in education, collect case studies of successful applications, and organise meetings and events. An important part of our work is documenting links to free software, Linux and open content teaching resources as well as maintaining Topic Guides. This site is also a tool for developing projects related to FLOSS in education.

Training

If you're new to FLOSS we have ideas for exploring popular software and getting the most from Linux in Education.

Pupils are usually quick to learn anything new, but other users (including IT staff) may need training to get the full benefits out of using FLOSS applications. Here we present a range of solutions for your training needs.
