I'm currently employeed by the Central Manchester CLC to get proprietary Windows educational programs working under Wine.

Sometimes this is easy. Sometimes it is not. I'm currently hacking about half a dozen different Win32 API functions to make Wine execute programs it can't already. Soon I'll produce a list of programs that work and details of how to make them work when it's not blindingly obvious; which it rarely is.
