Talk:OpenCurriculum

It seems simpler to navigate by choosing the KS (age range) first, and then selecting the appropriate subject. If desirable, we could navigate either way. I added age ranges because this site is accessed by teachers from other countries! WikiSysop
Added subjects to ensure there is the National Curriculum core and foundation subjects as published in the statutory instruments.
If producing an open curriculum resourse seems a tall order take a look at Wikipedia. In three years this has gone from start to becoming the biggest encyclopaedia in the world. While there are QCA resources available and obviously the QCA SOW, its not possible to add to these or organise them and its not always easy to find what you need. There must be a lot of good materials already out there scattered on hundreds of websites. We want to bring it together in one place here. Give a brick and get a house :-). Get some of the more able pupils involved, give them assignments to produce useful resources to teach someone a piece of knowledge or a concept and get them to post it here. User:IanLynch
A similar initiative has recently been started in the US, with the objective of sharing teachers' lesson plans, again using Wiki as the technology. See [[1]]. Miles Berry
