I'm thinking of re-working this page, and some of the pages that stem from it, because we've actually initiated three or maybe four quite distinct projects:

1. Development of free teaching materials

2. OpenOffice.org database component

3. Certification of:

  • educational Free, Libre Open Source Software, and
  • Hardware to run it on.

Now we have a proposal to work with Sun and/or IBM in preparing proposals for Becta's Framework Contracts for supply of software. It's definitely time to refactor this page!
