Orwell offer support and advice on Open Source and networking to other Specialist Schools through the National ICT Register. Their staff also gave us a nice plug following the Becta report (see news):
The Times Ed will be running a lengthier feature on OSS in schools following the Becta report. This will be in their OnLine supplement published twice a term. A short feature appeared in the issue of 17th July, and there is a lengthier one promised for the Autumn.
There's another excellent case study write-up on the Specialist Schools iNet site.
We have been offered a seminar slot at BETT on Thursday 12th January 2006 at 3.15. Support would be gratefully received on the day.
Teacher's TV News are filming here on Friday 1st July. It will be a 3 way feature between Microsoft, Becta and us. Due for broadcast on Thursday 7th July, and re-runs for about a week I think.
