Knoppix 40 DVD Preview

Kyle Rankin, the author of a couple of O'Reilly books on Knoppix, has blogged this preview of Knoppix 4.0 DVD. This release of Linux Distribution that invented LiveCDs will take advantage of all that extra space by including many, many programs. It includes both Gnome and KDE desktops.

Once available it could be an excellent way to explore the best of current FLOSS without installing Linux.

Kyle also explains how you can use the Knoppix CD to virus check a Windows PC.
