| Why use GNU/Linux? |
We wanted a flexible solution in ORDER to run thin client stations over a wireless link. We decided that Mandrake Linux and StarOffice 6 offered the functionality we needed, yet was more stabe and less demanding on resources than Microsoft software. We were also concerned at the costs of doing this with a Microsoft solution, and were attracted by the greater flexibility offered by open source. |
