Richard Rothwell has asked anyone who would welcome a Linux version of Crocodile Clips to contact the company and let them know. To date, they consider there is insufficient demand to warrant producing a Linux version.

Chris Puttick reports that Crocodile Clips will run successfully under Wine.

Mark Evans notes however that when running Crocodile Technology, the component icons on the left don't display correctly.

Troy Wright notes that the problem regarding the symbols might be because of a missing font (Ariel Unicode). This is from the crocodile-clips "Known Problems" page. This might be fixable by copying the font to the virtual /windows/fonts directory.
